Parsons Xtreme Golf makes a splash on Tour
Scottsdale, AZ – What do 12 golfers with 55 tour wins, including three majors, have in common? PXG! After months of speculation, Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) today announced its 2016 tour staff lineup. The revolutionary new golf equipment company has added eight well-known names to its current tour staff, including 2015 British Open Champion Zach Johnson, 2014 FedExCup Champion Billy Horschel and U.S. Women’s Open Champion Cristie Kerr.
PXG first made headlines when Ryan Moore appeared at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in 2015 with a set of PXG 03x prototypes in his bag. Since then, the company has gone from complete unknown to one of the most talked about brands in the industry.
Employing groundbreaking technology, PXG clubs offer golfers an unparalleled playing experience. The distinctive look, feel and performance is second to none.
“By enabling PXG’s engineers to work without limitations of any kind we were able to achieve an unheard of level of performance,” said PXG founder Bob Parsons. “Now we’ve signed some of the best talent in the game to put our equipment in play because, at the end of the day, it’s all about performance – and PXG clubs really perform.”
PXG clubs will be put in play this season by some of the best talent on all three major U.S. tours. New #PXGTroops include:
- Zach Johnson, 12x PGA TOUR Winner
- Billy Horschel, 3x PGA TOUR Winner
- Chris Kirk, 4x PGA TOUR Winner
- James Hahn, PGA TOUR Winner
- Charles Howell III, 2x PGA TOUR Winner
- Cristie Kerr, 18 Career Wins
- Alison Lee, Rookie Year Solheim Cup Champion

“The decision to put PXG clubs in play was not one I took lightly,” said British Open and Masters champion Zach Johnson. “My entire team, from caddie to coach, was part of the discernment process. We all agree that PXG is undeniably the best equipment to help me achieve my goals on the course.”
“Being part of PXG is like being part of a very special movement in golf,” champion golfer Billy Horschel added. “What the company has accomplished in its first generation of equipment is mind-blowing. I’ve been playing some really incredible golf with PXG clubs and I feel very confident that great things are to come.”
The new players will join current PXG tour staff Ryan Moore, Rocco Mediate, Beatriz Recari and Sadena Parks.
The strategy in signing the 12 golfers focused on several critical factors, but most important each player’s enthusiasm for the PXG brand.
“We like players who like us – it’s that simple” Parsons shared. “Having some of the best golfers in the world want to play our clubs in competition is absolute validation that we’ve done something incredibly special.”
