At Fairways Magazine, we’re all about golf and golfers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the surrounding Southern Ontario region. That means a mix of local news plus feature stories on courses and travel, instruction and the latest trends in golf gear, as well as profiles and interviews with intriguing people.
The Magazine is emailed twice a week to subscribers. Our Monday Report catches up on the latest news from the Tours, especially Canadians in action. Each Friday issues contains more news plus feature stories on courses, travel, instruction and equipment plus interviews and profiles on movers and shakers in the industry.
Fairways Magazine has been published since 2001. Originally a print publication, Fairways became a digital only platform in 2014 consisting of our website, a weekly emagazine and social media channels.
Our readership is 95% from the Greater Toronto Area and is split between public players (59%) and private club members (41%). The average age is 55 and readers indicate that pre-pandemic, they took an average of 2 golf trips per year.
In annual surveys, our subscribers tell us their #1 reason for reading Fairways is to learn about places to play and travel. Consequently, profiles on courses, resorts and destinations top our editorial calendar. Of course, it doesn’t end there as we also post weekly content about the pro tours, the local golf scene, news, instruction tips and videos, blogs, gear reviews and profiles on people, places and lifestyle.
We do not accept sponsored editorial.
