“It is an exciting time in our calendar where we share the results of our Association vote for our year end players and Canadian golf story of the year awards,” said Mike Johnny, President of the Golf Journalists Association of Canada.
“While the game posted record participation numbers it also faced another season of unique challenges due to the pandemic”, said GJAC President Rick Young.
Canadian Golf Hall of Fame Honoured Member, Dick Grimm, also known as ‘Mr. Canadian Open’, serves as namesake for the association’s highest honour.
Henderson and Hughes take the award in the Professional category; Thibault and Desmarchais on the Amateur side.
