Induction will take place at the new Hall of Fame in Pinehurst in June 2024 ahead of the U.S. Open. Jim Furyk, Butch Harmon and Dottie Pepper did not get 75% of the vote required for election.
Dottie Pepper, Cristie Kerr, Butch Harmon and co-founders of the LPGA also on the list. The final vote will be March 8 with induction scheduled for June 2024.
The Hall of Fame was established in 1974 in Pinehurst before ownership was transferred from the Pinehurst Resort to the PGA of America and moved to Florida in 1998.
Enshrinement for the current class of inductees that includes Woods and former PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem is scheduled for March 2022.
