The Championship brought together 144 players for three days of competition at MontHill G&CC, celebrating the fifth anniversary of the championship and showcasing the talent of Indigenous golfers from across the province.
The three-peat puts Liu into impressive company with Canadian Golf Hall of Famers, Sandra Post (1964-66) and Gail Harvey Moore (1958-60) as well as four-time winner Heather Kuzmich (1981-84).
With Xie’s win he becomes the 13th player to win both the Junior Boys and Juvenile Boys division in the same year.
Huang carded a final-round 3-under 70 to finish at 22-under par, two shots ahead of England’s Charley Hull at Centurion Club.
