A few years back, someone suggested to me that I should make a Bucket List. Maybe it was after that Morgan Freeman – Jack Nicholson movie. Since I’m a list-maker by nature, the idea greatly appealed to me. At least until I started.

Many golf travellers are looking for exotic destinations but that’s not always feasible or advisable. Here are six amazing Canadian destinations, from East to West, that should rank right up there with the best in the world.
It’s called the Golf Capital of the World. With over 90 golf courses along the Grand Strand, most of them public and affordable, there’s something for everyone along this 100 km stretch of beach in South Carolina.
As a guest of Explore NB, the trip was intended to showcase their PGA Tour Americas tournament in Fredericton, then spend a few days along the Acadian coast sampling food, culture, history and some golf. It turned out to be way more than a golf trip.
I used to think I must be the only golfer in Canada that has never been to the Dominican Republic. All of my friends have been there, some multiple times, and everyone has raved about the experience, from the beaches to the resorts to the golf courses.
Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and home to over 15 million people. It usually ranks in the Top 3 ‘Most Visited Cities in the World’ along with London and Paris. You may have heard how friendly the Thai people are and it’s quite true. They are exceedingly courteous and always smiling. Always!
