Danny King, David Fritz appointed CJGA Team Coaches

Richmond Hill, ON – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is proud to introduce Danny King and David Fritz as the newly appointed CJGA Team Canada coaches. Their expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in nurturing the talent of young Canadian golfers, empowering them to excel on the international stage representing CJGA Team Canada. As renowned figures in the golfing community, Danny King and David Fritz bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their roles as CJGA National Team Coaches.

 

Danny King

Danny King, a seasoned PGA member with a remarkable track record, boasts an illustrious career that includes appearances in prestigious tournaments such as the Canadian Open Championships (3-times), the US Senior Open Championship and cut his teeth on the Canadian tour. His teaching philosophy, honed over three decades, emphasizes holistic development and a balanced approach to the golf swing. Through his Performance Academy established in 2001, Danny has groomed aspiring junior golfers to compete at the highest levels, instilling in them the drive to pursue their dreams on all major junior tours in North America.

 

David Fritz

David Fritz, a PGA of Canada Professional for over thirty years, is a decorated coach with two US Kids World Championship titles under his belt. David has worked with many world class coaches who have assisted in honing his coaching and instructional craft to a National level. His coaching prowess is evidenced by the numerous tournament victories achieved by his students on both national and international platforms, Including 5 order of merit champions on the CJGA tour. David’s results-oriented approach, coupled with his expertise in swing mechanics and game strategies, has made him a respected figure in the world of junior golf development
