Spent a week in Ireland the first week of last Oct. 2016. Played Lahinch,Doonbeg,Waterville,Ballybunion Old. Absolutely amazing.
Have never played links before but now have a new respect. Looking to
go back to try the other courses mentioned.

  Great idea for another column John. I’ve been to a few on your list and have a lot more to add. The trouble with a list of great Irish pubs is knowing when to quit – both the pub and the list. Cheers!
