Ottawa and Caledon highlight PGA Tour Americas 2026 schedule

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida – PGA TOUR Americas is set to kick off its 15-event 2026 season this week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the 71st ECP Brazil Open serving as the season-opening event for the first time. Featuring a field of 144 players, the tournament will be played April 16-19 at the Gil Hanse-designed Olympic Course, which is approaching the 10th anniversary of the historic 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Covering nine countries over the next six months, the Tour’s third season will conclude in the Dominican Republic with the PGA Oceans 4 Tour Championship presented by Scotiabank, October 15-18. There, the top 10 players on the final season-long Points List will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2027 season.

The Class of 2026 will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Johnny Keefer and Michael Brennan, who finished No. 1 on the PGA TOUR Americas Points List in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Both are PGA TOUR members this season, with Keefer earning his card as the No. 1 player on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List and Brennan securing his through a victory at the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship.

Players to Watch

Hunter Wolcott, United States – A winner last season at the 2025 Diners Club Peru Open, this 28-year-old from Tennessee finished No. 11 on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List, narrowly missing strong Korn Ferry Tour status by just four points.

Omar Morales, Mexico – A three-time collegiate winner at UCLA and No. 9 on the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking, this 23-year-old from Puebla is set to begin his first full season as a professional. He has already made six PGA TOUR starts, including two appearances in the U.S. Open, along with eight Korn Ferry Tour starts.

Hunter Thomson, Canada – The 22-year-old from Calgary finished No. 24 on the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking following a standout amateur career that included four collegiate victories at the University of Michigan. Most recently, he contended at the 2025 season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship, where he finished tied for sixth.

Enrique Dimayuga, Philippines – In his professional debut season, Dimayuga recorded two top-10 finishes, including a tie for fifth at the Digital Commerce Group Open in Victoria, to finish No. 64 on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List. He entered the professional ranks following a 20th-place finish in the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking.

Maxwell Ford, United States – Coming off a runner-up finish at the 2026 PGA TOUR Americas Q-School in Dothan, Alabama, this 23-year-old is set to enter his second season on Tour. A member of the U.S. Team at the 2024 Palmer Cup, Ford recorded eight top-five finishes during his collegiate career.

Mats Ege, Norway – A former standout at East Tennessee State, Ege captured three collegiate victories during his senior season. Last year on PGA TOUR Americas, he recorded two third-place finishes to end the year No. 29 on the 2025 Points List.

Riley Lewis, United States – Playing his first full professional season in 2025, the 24-year-old from Prescott, Arizona, delivered a strong campaign to finish No. 18 on the PGA TOUR Americas Points List. He posted two third-place finishes and recorded eight top-25s.
