PGA Tour star David Hearn and Rockway Vineyards launch wine label

St.Catharines, ON – It was announced today that The David Hearn Foundation Wine Label will be available for purchase starting on Saturday, May 14. The wine label, launched in partnership between PGA TOUR star David Hearn and Rockway Vineyards Golf Wine Dine, will donate a portion of proceeds from sales to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

The David Hearn Foundation Wine Label will feature a red wine – a 2013 Cabernet/Merlot blend, and a white wine – a 2015 Chardonnay/Riesling blend. The wines will be available through Rockway’s retail store at 3290 Ninth Street in St Catharines, ON and online at www.rockway.net for $17.95 CAD. The wines will also be available at wholesale cost to restaurants and golf courses to carry the products.

“I am excited to officially launch The David Hearn Foundation Wine Label,” said David Hearn. “The team at Rockway and myself have been working on the label design and tasting notes for the past six months, and we are extremely proud of the quality wines that have been produced. I am especially proud that a portion of proceeds from the wine sales will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.”

Rockway’s vineyards are located on premium grape growing land in the Twenty Mile Bench sub-appellation, famous for its mineral-rich soils. The winery is renowned for being able to grow, craft and bottle 99.9% of all of the wines it produces. The winery features a diverse portfolio of wines under the care of winemaker David Stasiuk, which will now also encompass The David Hearn Foundation Wine Label.
