“We have some incredibly impressive venues that are set to play host to RBC PGA Scramble Regional Finals in 2022,” said PGA of Canada president Teejay Alderdice.
“Walking as you play golf continues to grow as the desired method of play for so many golfers and the brands JPSMGolf distributes allows you to enjoy that to the fullest extent,” said PGA of Canada CEO Kevin Thistle.
The award recipients also include World Golf Hall of Fame member Marlene Streit who was honoured with the George Cumming Distinguished Service Award.
Launched in 2021, the Women in Coaching program aims to strike a stronger gender balance with high-performance coaches to better reflect the Canadian golf community.
The Webcast for the awards will officially open at 6:30 ET prior to the beginning of the event at 7.
Past champions include Moe Norman, Al Balding, George Knudson, Dan Halldorson, Dave Barr, Bob Panasik., Stan Leonard, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Lanny Wadkins, Ray Floyd and Steve Stricker.
“This is the first time I’ve played the Head Pro Championship, so to be the champion with some of the others on that trophy, it hasn’t settled in yet, but it’s quite an honour and I feel so lucky to have won.”
