Gary is someone who spent more than three decades telling the PGA TOUR’s story to the masses but at the heart of his character is the desire to usher the game forward through his charitable work.
He also became the first to win the Irish Open, Scottish Open, and The Open Championship – the major he won in 2014 before the onset of a vexing drought in the majors that is now at nine years.
The 24-year-old Swede has five victories on the Ladies European Tour — including a history-making nine-shot victory last year against a field of men and women in the Scandinavian Mixed.

As part of CPKC’s title sponsorship extension, the prize purse for the CPKC Women’s Open will increase to $2.5M US, beginning with the 2023 event, August 22-27 at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver.
