BDO’s multi-year enhanced commitment to Canadian golf will impact Golf Canada’s entire operation with touchpoints in professional and amateur championships, sport programming, volunteerism, and philanthropy
The win gives her the second-most ORORO PGA Women’s Championship titles in history. Lorie Kane, who the tournament trophy is named after, has won five times.
The 65-year-old German also become the oldest champion – by eight years – in the U.S. Senior Open.
Cameron joins his father Mike as the only father-son duo to capture the championship. Mike Pero won his trophy in 1989.

The campaign is committed to raising and investing up to $750,000 over 4 years to help break all barriers of entry to the sport.
Past champions include Garrett Rank (2015, 2018) and Ontario Golf Hall of Fame members Stu Hamilton (1993, 1998), Kelly Roberts (1997), and Dave Bunker (2007, 2011, 2014, 2021).
The Ontario Women’s Match Play Championship was first played in 1975. Past champions include World Golf Hall of Fame member Marlene Stewart Streit and six-time champion Mary Ann Hayward,
He won in only his seventh start in a major — his previous best was a tie for 75th — and it came six weeks after he captured his first PGA Tour title at Quail Hollow.
