Schools out! Time to tee it up with Youth on Course
Golf Canada
With school wrapped up and summer schedules shaping up, there’s no better time for young golfers to get out on the course. Whether it’s a morning round with friends, a family golf day or an evening tee time under the summer sun, Golf Canada’s Youth on Course program is helping make more golf possible for young players across the country.
Included with every Golf Canada membership, Youth on Course gives golfers aged 6–18 access to rounds for $5 or less at participating facilities during designated tee times. It’s a simple idea with a big impact: make golf more affordable and accessible so more young people can experience everything the game has to offer.
Summer is when many lifelong golf memories are made. From playing a first 18 holes to building skills and confidence, the season provides countless opportunities for junior golfers to get on the course. Through Youth on Course, members can access a growing network of more than 88 participating courses across Canada, making it easier than ever to play close to home or while travelling. Members also have access to more than 2,100 participating courses across the United States and Australia, creating even more opportunities for golf-loving families this summer.
More than just affordable rounds, Youth on Course introduces young Canadians to the lifelong benefits of golf, from developing social skills and building confidence to staying active and creating meaningful connections beyond the fairways.
The program continues to expand thanks to the support of participating facilities, donors, and fundraising efforts such as the 100 Hole Hike, which helps provide subsidized rounds for junior golfers nationwide. These combined efforts are ensuring that the next generation has greater access to the game than ever before.
As golfers of all ages make plans for another memorable summer, Youth on Course is helping young players spend less time on the sidelines and more time doing what they love—playing golf.
